Home      Exhibitions     About Us     Contact Ruth Kestenbaum Ben-Dov Biography: Born in the United States in 1961 and living in Israel since 1979, is an award-winning graduate of Hebrew University and Bezalel Art Academy. Her recent work explores the relationship between religion and art, body and text, matter and spirit, and her place in these concerns as woman, artist, and traditional Jew. She has exhibited at a number of galleries and museums in Israel including the Museum of Art, Ein Harod and the Janco-Dada Museum, Ein Hod. Her first solo show at ARTSPACE was in 1998, and she will participate in the November, 2001 group show honoring painter Moshe Kupferman.
